Wow - three terms in office, and Texas Governor Rick Perry has just made things worse and worse and worse in Texas. How many Texans have been murdered along the border on his watch? And how much worse is it going to be when Texas secedes, as Perry says he wants to do (when he's not busy begging Obama for gubmint money, of course)?

By the way, crime in the 14 counties of Texas that border Mexico is down 3.1% from 2005 levels (when Bush was in the White House and not paying that much attention to Bin Laden OR the U.S.-Mexico border).

Rick Perry, on the other hand, claims that crime along the border is down SIXTY-FIVE PERCENT in that same timeframe.

I think the words you and he are looking for are, "Thank you, Mister President."

And I remember a certain high school in Colorado where, while the NRA held its little convention to exclaim how much safer everyone was with guns, 12 people were murdered and 23 others injured in a high school in Columbine.

That means Charlton Heston killed all those kids as surely as Obama is responsible for every murder in Mexico, right?
