Umm, you *DO* know my MOTHER was the regional demo derby champion for a couple years running, and had a good fistfull of other trophies besides, right ?

She once drove through a part of new york city during our family vacation WHILE it was engaging in a riot, that was pretty interesting, but not as much as her charging right into some bar in jamaica, queens right after that with her own heavy tankard, which she smacked on the counter and demanded the barkeep fill that mother up with sloegin, seven and a shot.

As she carried it back to the car, they were lookin at her like she had three heads, so totally wigged out they couldn't even wrap their mind around what just happened, and she flops into the passenger seat and tells *ME* to drive, while she knocks back half the mug in a gulp.

Trust me, you wouldn't WANT to compete with mosta the chicks in my family, oh hell no - the very first meeting between my Ex and the family, we walked into an ongoing argument between my aunt and her two daughters over her not letting them borrow her brand new car for that weekends amateur class rally, which result in them borrowing (go ahead and laugh, they scored 4th!) my uncles freakin pickup truck.

Was kinda glad we had a puny rental car, too, cause they *would* have begged and pleaded to borrow my Alero with that evil little sixbanger, and woulda gotten it too cause they know imma sucker for them as much as my nieces, one of whom is busy hotrodding a damn pontiac bonneville as we speak, no doubt...

As I've posted before, when I was young and rode motorcycles, it was unusual enough and some men resented it enough that I was all but pushed off the road more than once.

Nowadays, to see so MANY women riding their own bikes--big ones and cafe racers--just gladdens my heart. So this woman makes me grin from ear to ear. More power to her!

Sorry, not buying into that line of horseshit. Danica is a hell of a driver, first and foremost, and IndyCar was long over and well-screwed before she ever got a full-time ride in the series.
