Anyway, E! Online reports that Joss Whedon ("Dollhouse", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", SERENITY) "is developing a documentary feature about Comic-Con that will be centered on a still-to-be-cast group of convention-going superfans."

E! continues, saying that Whedon would be teaming up with documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (SUPER SIZE ME, WHERE IN THE WORLD IS OSAMA BIN LADEN?) and that "they want to follow people for about three months leading up to this year's Comic-Con... and then they want to film them there. They're looking at all types of people."

JoBlo makes it sound like it's happening, and E! mentions "said a source" so I'm not entirely sure if it's 100% going ahead, but it sounds like it.

Extra Tidbit from JoBlo: "Will Joss Whedon find a way to incorporate his own "Browncoats" in the doc?"

Could be interesting, although I'd prefer he works on a new TV show...

and oh my I'd be jealous of whoever gets picked to be followed around by Joss Whedon. Damn.
