So, somebody correct me if i'm wrong here. Doesn't the fact that our administration can tap just about anybody they want to mean they could even wire tap, say, the Democratic Headquarters. Hmm. Wasn't Nixon quite nearly impeached for similar actions in the seventies? Tell me i'm not the first person to suggest this.

Of course Bush should wiretap the Democrats.

1) The Democrats are against the Bush administration (well, ostensibly anyway)

2) You're either with us or against us

Therefore the Democrats are enemies of America and must be stopped, no matter how many illegal wiretaps must be made, no matter how many CIA agents must be outed, no matter how many electoral machines must be rigged.

Bush is here to preserve democracy, not to practice it.
