as I just saw this signature of deepgirl1187, the question I had when watching "Trash" came back to me:

In the beginning of Trash, when we can see our beloved captain sitting on the stone, there is a black spot on his hip. What is this? Where did it come from?

Sorry, didn't found a better picture of it. Can you see it?

You have no idea how much I agonized over this! I found a great picture of it (the same one linked above) I studied and rotated it. If it is indeed Egyptian in nature, it is a Scarab Beetle.
