America loves a winner!

The Best Movies and T.V. from the past 25 years.

Sorry if this was already posted. A friend at work gave me the collector's edition insert just last week, and I didn't see a thread on this topic up recently.

We'll all have our opinions, on what was left out, what was left in, etc.... My biggest gripe is how Jurassic Park could be left off this list. Unforgivable.

Anyway, here's the list:

1. The Matrix
2. Battlestar Galactica
3. Blade Runner
4. The X-Files
5. Star Trek: Wrath of Khan
6. Brazil
7. E.T.
8. Star Trek: The Next Generation
9. Aliens
10. The Thing
11. LOST
12. Back to the Future
13. The Terminator / T2 ( 1984/1991 ) *
14. Children of Men
15. Firefly/Serenity
16. Total Recal
17. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
18. HEROES
19. Starship Troopers
20. Star Wars: Clone Wars ( animated series )
21. Futurama
22. Quantum Leap
23. Doctor Who
24. Galaxy Quest
25. V - The miniseries

Ok, first things first. This list is crap. Mixing movies and t.v. shows only leads to inconsistancies that do nothing but muck up the list. It's not as if there's a lack from available t.v. / movie titles that they can't be divided up.

The top 10 can be debated 'til the cows come home, but I'm basically ok with picks 1-9, though the order might be somewhat suspect. But # 10 gripes me some. What seperates The Thing from The Abyss ? And where the hell is Predator ?? Don't tell me that " V " and the cartoon versions of SW:TCW are higher rated than Predator. Please!

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "

You can watch The Abyss between meals without ruining your appetite.

Not that any list that includes "V" but leaves off Babylon 5 can be taken seriously. I mean, B5 had some wooden acting but "V"...?
