SERENITY's cast list leaves out two of FIREFLY's crew

Still, the bigger news for longtime FIREFLY fans that's not contained in the release is the absence of two principal cast members from the TV show: Ron Glass (Reverend Book) and Alan Tudyk (Wash, the ship's pilot).

A lot of people are quoting a futoncritic article that says Wash & Book are in there, but I'm waiting for something more "official" than a futoncritic article.

I'm hoping it's just that they can't publicize that they have Alan Tudyk and Ron Glass until the contracts are signed (just like they couldn't tell us anything about the movie for quite awhile) and it's just little (easily overcome) technicalities that is keeping them from being officially signed on.

Ron Glass did give that big hint to that girl at the Wolfram & Hart party a little while back, so it's not like he doesn't *want* to do it.

I'm sure they'll both be signed. Alan is currently filming I, Robot with Will Smith, and Ron works pretty steadily. They're probably just aren't listed because they have to work out scheduling before they can sign contracts.

I certainly hope so... It would not be the same without the conscience and pilot of Serenity shipping out with the rest of the crew in the feature film

They can have my "Firefly" DVDs when they pry them from my cold, dead fingers....

Oh yeah, you, FOX TV!!

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I am certain that Alan & Ron will both sign. Both have made statements that they would be there if a movie were done, and I see no reason for them to go back on that assurance. I am sure it is nothing more than agents hammering out deals and getting a signature on the bottom line.
