OK, I've set up a web page for Browncoats to donate to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. I've set a goal of $10,000 for the Browncoat community. I will kick this off by personally donating $100.00. If you can spare anything--even 5 bucks--please do so! The web address is:

Actually, I have another idea to help. I wove a scarf in cinnamon-brown/dark brown cotton. I want to raffle it off - I can guarantee its one of a kind - the two colors were sold under 'brown', but the dye lots would be difficult to match. Does anyone know how to go about setting this up, and have the top bidder send paypal or money order directly to the red cross, or another charity to help? Is anyone interested in something like this? I can try to post a photograph soon.
