According to a little blurb on TV Guide Online, Doug Savant, who we may remember as the gay tenant, Matt Fielding, on Melrose Place, will be making an appearance on the second episode of Firefly. "I'm playing a macho, fascistic cop for the Alliance, which is the reigning government in the future," said Savant.
