Hello all...
I've been watching the devastation and I am heartbroken.

Please, please if there is anything you can do, any money you can donate, do.

Also, I know in my area they are looking for Red Cross volunteers to help in LA and MS in my area (DC/MD/VA)

For non-locals, your area may be looking for volunteers to go to LA/MS; if you have the time and the health, please check with your local Red Cross office.

If you can go, please do. Please do.

"We need volunteers to deploy immediately for a 3 week assignment who have no medical restrictions. If you meet these qualifications, please call me."

However, they are also looking for volunteers to work with the Response Center in Falls Church to distribute info about recovery and presumably help people out; talk to Sally Herfield at 703-206-6829. I'm going to see what I can do as a volunteer there.
