Interesting fact which AFAIK I am the only one to have spotted - haven't seen it mentioned anywhere on the net -

In the intro to Serenity the Movie, look at the orbital map of the planets as the teacher is talking about Earth-That-Was.

6th orbit out from the star - there's no planet on it!

I don't have access to the DVD at this moment, but as I recall, we only see a partial arc of each orbit, not the full circle. Therefore the planet in question could simply be elsewhere.

i find it much funnier to see a "windows xp"-screen on the garbage bin which kaylee has to reprogram in "Trash"

If there is no planet in the 6th orbit, perhaps it's an asteroid belt. The 4th orbit of our system is an example of what might be considered an "empty" orbit, but it has asteroids.

咒骂您! I don't finish work 'till 10pm and I just ~know~ I'm gonna end up watching for that on my DVD. And then watching the rest of the episode. And then watching all the other episodes on that disk. And then watching Objects in Space because I can't not!!!
