Saw ads, was interested. Saw it last night, quite a lot of laughs.
Seems like Die Hard mixed with some Home Alone.

Has violence, lots of swearing, but quite entertaining.

Could be a date movie, if you are into the violence part.
Not for kiddoes.

Likely to be a cult classic. I'll likely watch it again sometime.

Next theater over was showing Maverick.

One coda, after animated credits.

Thanks for the post. I'm going to my brother's soon and might suggest this to him and my dad if it's showing down there. I thought it was going to be a crappy Christmas horror flick from the screen grabs, and no way me or my old man would be interested in that.

On a side note, it came really close to dethroning Not Black Panther this weekend.

Yes there probably was a guy named Jesus who founded Christian but the celebration has become more pagan over time it started as a Germanic Eastern Alpine celebration. In Dallas Texas there is a Krampus Society that dresses like Santa Demons.

The original story before St Nicholas was a monster that put coal in kids socks

Did you ever see Krampus? I might give that one a watch someday. I've heard from people's opinions I respect that it was like the original Gremlins.

You ever watch Tales from the Darkside?

My favorite episode was a Christmas episode. It made me crap my drawers when I was a little kid watching it with my grandma.

Cheesy 80's awesomeness.

They don't have the full ep on YouTube anymore, but that video above is spoiler free. Don't look at any other videos for the episode if you don't want the ending spoiled for you.

Looks like I should be seeing Violent Night this week.

I'll let you know what I thought if I do.
