This was much better than I feared it might be.

They tried to recap the original film as much as they could, but it might not hurt to review the original films before seeing this.

McKenna Grace has 3rd billing, but she is really the star of the show as Phoebe. She did really well, and I was looking forward to seeing her again.

I felt a little out of it at the early part, but the story really did wrap things up and brought it all together in the middle and end.

I noticed Bob Gunton was credited, but I think I missed his part.

This one is a direct sequel to the original ensemble set. Not a reboot, and nobody had their roles transferred to another actor.



Large coda after the end of all the credits. Longest coda I've seen in quite a while, maybe forever.

After further thinking, I noticed that they did not detail the catastrophe of 1945, as applied to Evil Spirits.
That was the year that the Evil Devil FDR passed into his realm.
