I enjoyed this film. Yes, it is Sci-Fi, set in future, mystery, love story, action, puzzle.

In the producer credits, right after the Writer/Director was Johnathon Nolan.

Probably should not watch this while sleepy.
Lots of jumping around in "current" time - which seems at least a decade in the future, and recorded memories, which are often like backflashes. Not as deep of level as Inception.


The cast is led with Hugh Jackman. And Thandiwe Newton, who I have enjoyed following since Flirting - but I don't recall seeing that spelling of her first name. Also Rebecca Ferguson as romantic lead.
A very pleasant surprise to find Angela Sarafyan here, I did not know she was in the film.

If you like a thinking movie, you should enjoy this - but hold on and try keeping up to everything in motion.

During some of the memory recalls or depositions, there seems to be data which could lock in the year, but I didn't catch the details.

No coda.

I forgot to mention that it also includes Natalie Martinez in the cast, and Cliff Curtis.


The leads by Hugh and Thandiwe are both combat veterans, and now work together. I was really getting a vibe of Mal and Zoe, but not sure if it was intended.
