Daniel Graystone faces a rival while Sister Clarice closes in on Zoe's avatar.

What did everyone think?

BTW, you can watch it here if you haven't seen the episode.

As I posted in the other thread....

Great to see James on the screen again. I could tell he's no longer 'Spike'. And I miss Spike.

As for being on Caprica, he really looked and sounded great. He showed a quality about him, a confidence that was set apart from his Buffy/Angel days or even Smallville.

Summer Glau can simply walk into Mordor

Bones: "Don't 'rawr' her!"
Booth: "What? she'rawred' me first."

I remember Marsters saying in an interview that with each passing year, the likelihood of fans being able to see Spike again diminishes because vampires are not supposed to age, but obviously he knows he has aged.

I've often wondered about that, the whole 'aging' thing w/ Vampires.

Even if you don't get wrinkles and gray hair, folks still grow w/ wisdom and knowledge... that clearly has to show up in how one talks, carries themselves, etc.... you can't experience life ( and then death and being undead ) with out aging in SOME respect.

I watch D.B on Bones. He's clearly kept himself in great shape, as has James, but their 'boyish' quality is fading , being replaced by a more mature presence.

I'd say any hope of reprising either Angel or Spike for those two actors hasn't completely passed, not yet. But the clock is REALLY ticking loudly.

Yeah, that sucks. I always wonder why they do that.

Thanks for the post Haken, I'm going to watch it tonight and comment later. But I'm really liking this series so far. It started out slow but has gained momentum, I just hope Espenson keeps it going forward and fresh (here's hoping that lessons were learned from Firefly and Dollhouse).

I haven't really looked into how Caprica is doing in terms of ratings until now, but these are the latest numbers from TVBYTHENUMBERS.COM.

Pilot - 1.602 millions
Rebirth - 1.411 millions
Reins of a Waterfall - 1.128 millions
Gravedancing - 0.976
There Is Another Sky - 1.127 millions

Clearly not very high and lost a good portion of BSG fans, but it seems to have found an audience nonetheless.

As long as viewers don't cancel their SyFy subscriptions and SyFy themselves are happy with the ratings average, the series has a good chance of continuing.

I think the proof is in how Cap stacks up against other SyFy original shows, as well as, against BSG itself. (Also taken into consideration are the DVR and internet numbers).

I'm going to assume that the show is doing as well as the other originals because it's still on air. My fav ep so far is There is Another Sky, very intriguing premise. I hope they expand on that.

Thanx for the numbers Haken.
