The charity screenings Serenity Now/Equality Now raised at least $63,000 for charity, and they're still counting the funds. An overwhelming success and there's rumors of a repeat next year.

But I assume you're talking about Serenity Day, the half-hearted attempt to buy Serenity DVDs en masse in an attempt to gain a sequel. While I don't have any data at all, I imagine it predictibly had very little impact at all and the future of the franchise will be determined by long term sales and interests, not day-long gimmicks.

Firefly and Serenity did make in on top 3 best sellers on the 23rd at the amazon site though!
