This has already been posted on another thread, but I thought it deserved it's own....

Ain't it Cool News is reporting "reliable" confirmation that DVDs will be released!

“Firefly,” Joss Whedon’s widely adored but very cancelled Foxnet space Western, is coming to a DVD player near you -- and it’s coming in fabulous widescreen!

According to a never-steered-Herc-wrong-yet source close to the project:

No release date yet, but Fox Home Entertainment will be releasing. It sports the entire season, including the unaired eps, in 16:9 glory and, most likely, in the "correct" order. With lots of goodies.
