Did You See Buffy's Mom On TV Tonight?

So, I had the mute button on my TV pushed while I was working on my laptop, when all of a sudden I look at the TV screen and there was Buffy's mom! She's alive!!! I immediately pushed the sound and there she was doing an Advil commercial! Alas, no, Buffy's mom is still dead. Is it just me or will these actors always be associated with our favorite Joss Whedon shows? As a former classically trained actress, I KNOW it is acting, but why do these characters have such an effect on me? Just doesn't make sense... Is it just me?

I have a couple of video tapes which are dedicated to Buffyverse actors in other projects...I try to get movies or TV episodes, and I would tape the commercials too if I could just find out when they would be run!
