I thought I heard awhile back that there was a Comic-Con coming up in "August" I believe in Chicago and that there was the possibility for Joss or someone to be there. I know absolutely nothing about comics, but I would obviously go for Firefly. Does anyone have any idea where I could find information on what I think I'm talking about?

Thanks for the fast response. Do you know how this is going to work? Is joss going to have a panel like at the one coming up in San Diego or is it just like he sits and autographs stuff? I'm completely clueless!

Although the program schedule isn't available (which is a bit perplexin'), in my experience with the show the Guest of Honor usually has a special panel/program followed by a lengthy autograph session... Given the wide appeal for both comic & TV/movie fans, I'm pretty sure there will be both - with major crowdage for each! Check the program & plan well in advance, and be prepared for a *LONG* autograph line wait (and a high possibility of being cutoff before getting to him)...

Joss will not have the Firefly crew with him, and he is not scheduled to discuss Firefly or Serenity (but I'm hoping there will be questions on the subject anyway)
He'll mostly be discussing the Astonishing X-men comics, and he will be available for autographs.

I also heard that some Browncoats had gotten together to man a table...

I'm going. In fact, a bunch of browncoats are. We even have a fan table in Artist's Alley(table #25).
Go to Universal's Serenity message board, and there is a whole discussion about WizardWorld Chicago and who is attending. :)
