Good morning browncoats,

There are a couple of observations or just plain ideas I’ve been thinking about for the past few days. The first one is about something I’ve read that was linked to the “Whedon” site.

Joss’ next project? What will it be? I can tell what I would like to see, that is another tour of my favorite Whedon universe, FIREFLY. I know, I know…..keep on dreaming Z you say. But what better time than right now to be wishing for something like this? I mean it wouldn’t even have to be a full-out season, just a mini-series of 3 episodes. Something short and sweet to see if the “verse” can drum up the kinda interest that it wasn’t given a chance the first time around.

As for as I know, mentioning “ Wash Cycle” Alan shows that he is still ready to do more FF and Nathan prettying much nailed his continuing interest with his rendition of Capt. Reynolds in the CASTLE Halloween special,……….so who else would be available?

I think Summer would do it as well as Jewel, Morena and Gina. I think Sean might jump in for this kind of thing and Ron too. That just leaves Adam. I think Mr. Baldwin is still interested in his Jayne character even though he’s busy with “Chuck”.

Many of the actors and actresses are doing other things so this is why I’m only suggesting a short run mini series.

Who woulda THUNK it, that after this amount of time the Firefly fan base would have remained so loyal, and like myself so many new browncoats have been brought into the fold? Seem that I’m hoping the some tv exect will stumble upon this or maybe other threads like this one and the light bulb will come on!

Ok now back to reality.

The second thing I’ve been thinking about is how many different FF phrases do you catch yourself saying or thinking every week? I mean, just little thoughts that flash through the old brain pan when you’re in traffic or out at the market maybe even dealing with one of your kids.

“Let’s be bad guys”
“ I aim to misbehave”
“That’s the kinda thing a civilized person would do, don’t you think?”

And there are so many others that fit every day circumstances.

A miniseries would be nice. I have yet to check out Alan's comments in that video as I *just* got internet back at home yesterday (at work I cannot watch vids, no sound).

Of course there's still a devoted interest, we *are* Browncoats after all :) Not to mention it's one of the awesomest shows aired in the past ten years.

Oh I say and think Firefly words and phrases every day. I don't count them XD I've even gotten my boyfriend--who refuses to watch the show @_@ --to quote some of the characters because I'm constantly speaking them around him (among them is "Now something about that is just downright unsettlin" and a Wash quote I just can't remember right now).

More than half of the away messages on my AIM account are Firefly/Serenity quotes XD because I love to share my favorites with my buddy list.
