Colin Hanks running drugs out of Mexico? You have to love the good looking clean cut actors who want to be dirty. He’s teaming up with Eric Balfour – who has such a career, I feel like every time I turn around I see this guy in something new (you probably saw him last in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003) – to star in RX Sin Receta, a movie title that I’m sort of stumped to say out loud.

In the film the two buddies (and Lauren German as Balfour’s girlfriend) go to Mexico to smuggle pharmaceuticals out. They succeed and prosper from their illegal dealings, showing kids that there are many different ways to achieve the American dream!

Well, probably not. We may be past the days of the Hays Code, when crime had to be shown to not pay, but we’re still a society that seems to be unwilling to let the bad guy win in the movies, even when we let them win in politics, business, and late night TV talk shows.

Rounding out the cast will be Alan Tudyk, Ori Pfeffer and Danny Pino. Shooting starts Monday in New Mexico, which is getting it’s name changed to Mexico v 2.3 to better attract high tech businesses.

I am assuming that Alan will be done w/ the filming of this movie by the time filming starts in June on Serenity.

I'm going to take a wild guess, and say some of it is being filmed @ http://www.haciendavargas.com/ because i see a lot of movie trucks there and some people have signs up saying "parking for RX crew members" They are going to be clogging up the road i bet. sigh

You are correct, I went in yesterday and cought a seen being shot with Alan Tundyk. They started shooting Monday through Thursday and the crew will be cleaning up and heading out today.
