Film.com lists Nathan Fillion as sexier than People Magazine's choice Matt Damon. How is that going to NOT help Universal make up it's mind? Summer Glau's big new part in the Terminator show, Adam's part in Chuck, Tudyk's identical role to Wash from 3:10 To Yuma, and everyone else is gaining cred all the while as well. How could a sequel not be a $$ maker at this point?? And watch this while you're at it:

You can take a group of the biggest, most popular "stars" in Hollywood and make a movie....doesn't mean anyone is going to go see it....as witnessed by the recent spate of anti-war movies featuring Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, Robert Redford, Reece Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhall, etc. All their movies bombed this year, even with all that mega star power....and last year...Nicholas Cage, Oliver Stone big flop.

Yes the BDH's are getting more and more popular each day, and soon some may become household names to the masses, but even then the "magic" is not always there for a sequel on the heels of a less-than-profitable original.

Well I don't think there will be any more movies made untilthe Writer's strike is over, and they can huddle together for a great movie pitch. Also they will need a better name, like maybe Pirates of Shadow or Big Damn Movie.

I'm sure when the time is right there will be another movie. As to what the story would be will that's a far harder question.

There may never be another movie or series though if things don't move past, becasue Adam said in his interview with TV Guide that Serenity is closing by fast because he won't want to be a 60 year old Jayne Cobb.

Could you imagine how great Firefly could be on HBO or Showtime? One hour uninterrupted or edited episodes...arcs for several episodes possible. A whole new endless verse of fans and experiences for our heroes. Personally, I don't like the Sci Fi Channel. It's endless self-hype and waiting to see something. Sopranos fans seem like perfect potential Browncoats to me. I watched Sopranos for 4 years of its' 7 year run..The 2 shows are quite similar in a many ways...family, friends, violence, killings, crime, food, laughing, crying, loyalty, creed, independence....why Tony the man himself, Mr. James Gandolfini could come back to HBO---to the The Soprano-starved millions on Firefly as Jayne's dad Cyrus Cobb or something. And some more of the great special appearances by our favorite villains and scoundrels would really be my greatest wish.

A cable series would be the ONLY way for Firefly to return to television. After Serenity it would be too constricting for the material if it were on regular television. So watch this one more time...
