Combine the economic and political aspects of EVE Online ((And of course the awesome ship to ship combat, mining, and such)) with a first/third person shooter/action style control set up.

But then we'd have to make it so that the further towards the core or other Alliance heavy bases the less likely you will get away with violence and illegal activities ((Kinda like Empire to Lowsec to Nosec in EVE)).

And we'd have to make the point of the game not about finding 'teh uber loot' and grinding for levels and gold and 'pwning' noobs. It would have to be about your crew and keeping flying and what not.

That would be a sweet game in my estimation.
