I'm so sorry.

When Firefly was actually on, I didn't give it the credit it deserved. I didn't make the time I should have to watch it.

I didn't realize that this series, in a matter of 3 or 4 episodes, would be able to hook me like no other since the days of B5.

But I'll make my amends by buying the DVDs for every gorram person I can even remotely think of who is in need of a gift.

And whatever else I can do to promote Firefly...I'm in. There's no way I'll let this work of genius slide into obscurity.

That's good. Here's a little math problem to help those who don't see the connection.

Geting Firefly for people=more converts=more people getting DVDs=they buy it for people=bigger fan base that grows and grows.

Great idea, Barthir! I've already given two DVD sets as birthday gifts myself and they work every time (and they sometimes loan them out to others, who buy their own, who loan them out...)

I did a computation recently regarding exponential growth and Firefly fandom.

However, despite trying to be conservative, I must have overestimated *something*, because the result I got was that in one year, the number of Firefly fans will be greater than Earth's population.

Probably overestimated the number of people who try to hook new fans (I said 1 out of 5), and how often they managed to hook a new one (I think I said 2 every two weeks.....yeah, that's probably too high.)
