A good way to continue the show

Well, you know how they have the first season, then Serenity, and they plan on making more movies, I think, what they should do, is make another season, then another movie, and keep it going like that, a movie after every season continuing the story. I think it would be a good way to continue the show, because I think it would be weird to have the movie after the first season, then continue the show from the movie like that, and the best thing I can think of to remedy that would be what I am saying now.

What are your thoughts on this?
