DREAMTROVE

I'd say it's looking better for renewal of series than for sequel. Movie itself as a stand alone might lose money, but it's sure stoked the fires of interest in the show.

I think it is way too soon to be adding up the numbers, once Universal has a chance to look at the final total of box office sales, including over-seas
AND the DVD sales
then, in about another year or so they will reach a decision...
the good reviews are a major plus
I'm betting that at some point (in two years) they will decide to green light the next BDM

Which would probably work well w/Joss needing to finish Wonder Woman and Goners first anyway

However I have to say that I would really prefer to get the series back my own self...so if that is possible I would be more than happy to forget the sequels

Ummmm, you want a good Firefly fanfiction site? What the go se is the Blue Sun Room for if not that? Got everything from action to romance fics in there, Soldier. You like Jayne? Inara? Mal? Wash? They all live and breathe and sometimes fornicate in there. Step up! P.S. I want it all: a sequel, more hot new fan fiction and the Firefly series back on for as long and successful a gig as the Simpson's. What me, greedy?
