we were watching the simpsons and as the commercials were going we heard "lets be bad guys" and turned up the tv after the tv spot screened we yelled awsome did anyone else see it?

I didn't see it even though I watched the Simpsons, because I was watching the Simpsons in Canada, and Canadian ads take precedence over US ads in Canada when the same show is playing (even if you're watching the US station, if a Canadian channel is airing the show at the same time, the Canadian signal overrides the US one). So we got no Serenity commercials, and a lot of commercials for 'Into the Blue'. But I did see the Serenity commercial on something else today during the day, and it was pretty sweet.

Just a Lurker here, but I too was concerned about Universal being pretty quiet on the advertizing front but I just saw a nice Serenity spot during MNF. Not sure how the Football demographic lines up with the movie but the explosions and pretty ladies might have some effect.

I didn't see it during the Simpsons, but I saw an ad when I was watching the premiere of The O.C (which bodes well considering many people watch it) and it was shiny.

I saw the BDM ad tonight (Monday night) on NBC during 'The Medium'!

I had to do a talk on GPS and it's uses for a Horse riding club. On my way out of the restaurant I saw the wait staff hanging out by the TV waiting for the last few customers, including us to leave. As I walked out the door I saw the words Joss Whedon flash on the screen. My vision went kinda fuzzy. 1. I was tired. 2. I had someone talking to me and was trying to not be rude. And 3. It was SERENITY on the screen in front of me.

It was a rather shiny moment I must say. The TV was on ABC.

Yep, saw it during House last night - took us totally by surprise. We whooped and cheered and woke the dog. How ironic that the first commercial for Serenity I've seen was on FOX.
