At E3 I won a copy of Jade Empire--Bioware game for XBOX. I started playing it today and discovered one of the characters is voiced by Nathan Fillion. It's a martial arts RPG, and his character is an arrogant, bratty student at the school where the game opens. It'll be interesting to see how large a role this character plays in the game. It's weird to hear the captain's voice coming outta this guy!

Took me a little by suprise when I heard it too - knew he was in the game (other Whedonverse links being Robin Atkin Downes and Armin Shimerman).

OT - just can't get into the bloody game - the fighting system is so different from what I expected from the KOTOR people...

I had the same trouble at first. I was definitely expecting something more KOTOR-ish. Not a great twitch-gamer. It took me a while but I got it. Keep at it, if you liked KOTOR you'll enjoy how the story goes.

Back to the original topic, it cracked me up to hear Fillion in the game. I often listen to games with the sound quite low (usually play after the girls are asleep) but this is one I've been enjoying the voices too much to do so. IMDB's list of actors doing voices has expanded drastically since the first time I looked. Check it out.
