Argh! I can't watch the trailer!!!

Argh! What is happening. This university computer has quicktime 6 but when I click to view the trailer I get a little quick time logo with the corner ripped off. What does it mean. AM I DOOMED NEVER TO SEE THE TRAILLER.

calm... maybe the plugin didnt register correctly with the browser. try to download it directly:

http://movies.apple.com/movies/universal/serenity/serenity_480.mov

use a download manager if your browser insists on directly opening it (and fails) or create a dummy html file with a link to the file you can save link/target as... on (the really kind of backwards way)

if quicktime is still causing you trouble i have a xvid version:

but it's only 400x174 (large mov is 480x208), 18fps (instead of 24) and 22.5khz mono instead of 44kh stereo. why? because its meant for my pda *fg*. its about 7mb, might be able to get it down to 5mb if i really want to.

if the file isnt there: wait a second, its still uploading.
if you cant play xvid: what kind of semi-modern machine can do without the codec?

edit: almost forgot... please, only use this version if you really cant get any of the others or they absolutely dont want to work. traffic beyond 1gb is getting expensive, so consider it as last resort if everything else fails.

CARDIOVERSION

Thanks! It is saying that there is some unresolved data and won't play the .mov version and I only get sound not picture with the other one. Because it's not my machine I can't download programs to it.... so I guess I will have to wait until I can a) get to the Boyfriends on friday and plead until I get use his machine to watch or b) wait until I can see it in the cinema. It's not the end of the world.

(Pauses to consider non-trailer life)
