You replied to me and used "you" in your reply. So, my assumption is good. If you where making a general statment to the thread then you should've not used "you", but "you all" or some such.

And if you did read my origninal post you would know that I'm not prejudging the show, I'm judging the studio for doing something horrible to these classic characters (how many times to I have to say that?).

And from what I've read in this thread, which is pretty much all the posts, most are doing the same. So, no knee-jerk reactions about the show. Only about, again, the horrible things done to these classic characters.

You {SigmaNunki} are acting like it is a personal attack against you {SigmaNunki} and your 'faith' of the old Loony Toons.

What is so horrible {and isn't that a prejudgement?}? They aren't REAL and nobody can do nothing about it, someone else OWNS the property. Well, except to protest and send in a petition. But now petitions are SO overused and abused that they are now just about meaningless.

Example of TRUE horribleness: Just because cartoonist {throughout the decades} have made explicit porn images using venerated icons such as Bugs, Popeye among many others, does not sully the original! It just means there is a niche for sick individuals.

Anyhoo - the show is going to be a reality, unless you and other like-minded individuals stop it.

So don't watch it and let others -- whose taste differs from yours -- enjoy the chance to see something different. It will die or succeed on its own flaws or merits {usually a combo of both}

That is my final word on the subject.

And Sig - check your blood sugar level - you seem to be a tad tense.

Well, I rather like Batman Beyond (they renamed it Batman of the Future in the UK because apparently we're morons) so it's not as though cartoon characters can't be completely renovated unsuccessfully (yes, I know, Bruce is still in it but it is a big step from Batman TAS).

Actually that's not a bad example. I'm a fan of Batman (the 60's TV series, KAPOW!), a big fan of Batman (1989), comic books Batman (thgink) and the aforementioned Batman Animated and Batman Beyond. Each one has a different take on the exact same character and yet I still like each of them in their own way.

That said, this is almost certainly a terrible idea and doomed to failure. Something about it just screams "Poochie! Poochie!" at me. Maybe new Bugz is just too proactive and gets too busy for my liking.
