Firefly Comic Strip - Artists and writers wanted!

I'm working on developing a little weekly webcomic based on "Firefly". If anybody out there has some artistic drawing talent, or thinks themselves a dandy scribe, and might be interested in taking a crack at this project, give me a holler: author@lifeofwily.com

Basic Concept:

A weekly, 4 to 8 panel webcomic featuring the crew of Serenity. The comic will be hosted on my website, lifeofwily.com.

I'm thinking several strips to represent an episodic story arc, along with some free-standing strips, and larger, more encompassing arcs (e.g. Nishka, River and Simon). The idea is to retain all the humor and drama of the show, and in essence help it live on, even as we hope for a miracle for the actual show.

My current plan is to be a sort of 'head writer'. Meaning I want lots of people to be involved in the process, just like how there were several different writers for the show. Same with artists, we'd have a general 'head artist' who fueled the visual design of the comic, but any artist could work up a strip or a whole story arc. Artists could even team up with a writer friend and do it that way.

Shoot, I guess some folks could be both. :)

Anyway, like I said, give me a holler if you're interested.

It would be, of course, a purely 'not for profit' endeavor.
