I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

TPP/ TTIP: Trump said he would not sign the TPP, and Merkel declared the TTIP dead (conveniently after Trump's win). These are both big wins, in my book. Those trade deals were a death-knell for our sovereignty. The thing to keep track of is whether Trump will renege on this direction, and "renegotiate" the trade deals for Congressional approval. After all, Trump is a "deal maker" and TPTB ... the ones who wanted to destroy him .... are sure to apply continuing pressure on Trump through his first term.

Carrier deal: The deal was made without Presidential authority. It's a poor indication of what Trump would, or COULD, do in the future. It simply bears further watching.

Cabinet: I view the upcoming Trump Presidency with the same skepticism as I viewed Obama's early administration. Obama's appointment of Geithner was, I thought, a bad sign. Obama's (continuation of Bush's) bank bailout was another bad sign. And Obamacare was a third very bad sign. But I was willing to let these play out until I could determine whether they were, on balance, positive or negative for most Americans.

I'll be looking into Trump's Cabinet picks in detail, but I have to say: He sure has a cast of characters!

It's a Pence wishlist. Far-right Washington insiders looking for war, gay bashing, anti-abortion, and against anything publicly funded but not for profit.

If you were expecting Trump to "drain the swamp," you were duped. Expect the most anti-freedom administration in modern history.

No, I wasn't. I expected that Trump will do three things. THREE THINGS. "Draining the swamp" was not one of them. I have repeated those THREE THINGS so often I'm not going to repeat them again.
