The teacher told high schooler Samantha Pawlucy to “get out of this class” and pointed to the door when she entered the room, then tried to mark the shirt with a red marker.

Pawlucy’s parents have called for the teacher, who reportedly compared the student’s choice of dress to KKK attire, to be fired immediately.

“This is Philadelphia, the birthplace of freedom and things like that, but we have schools that want to take away her freedom,” the girl’s father said.

The school promptly relieved the math teacher from teaching the class and has promised an investigation

Sharon Sweet, a tenured professor at Brevard Community College in Melbourne, Florida, was placed on an unpaid leave of absence after allegations that she forced students to sign a "Vote for Obama" pledge, Fox News' Todd Starnes reported Monday.

According to a post at Campusreform.org, university officials learned of the pledge last week after receiving a phone call from a concerned parent.

“Based on the allegations, Associate Professor Sweet has requested, and been granted, a leave of absence without pay effective immediately,” John Glisch, Associate Vice President for Communications at BCC, said in a statement.

“The college will continue its investigation into the matter, which will include interviews with all students in her class,” the statement adds.

Politics is no place for a learning environment, especially when the message IS SO BLATANTLY IGNORANT. The teacher should be given a commendation, not a problem. Are tee-shirts with Nazi emblems condoned too? Wake the fuck up!
