Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Gingrich would be interesting, if it comes to pass. Rasmussen has it currently with Obama 50.6, Gingrich 41.1 as an average...the chart shows Obama going up, Gingrich going down since 12/15 ( http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/us/general_elec
tion_gingrich_vs_obama-1453.html
) with FAUXNEWS having Obama up by 14 as of 12/14 (!!!). I assume they're punting for Romney?

National polls ( http://www.nationalpolls.com/2012/obama-vs-gingrich.html) say if the election were held today, it would be: Obama 391, Gingrich 119. In the loooong list of polls there, only one (The Mason/Dixon, whatever that is) has Gingrich ahead of Obama.

In a poll of Obama v. all the Republican candidates, Romney comes closest, within a point or two, and in a couple of cases defeats him ( http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/president_obama
_vs_republican_candidates.html
)

Obviously polls don't tell the story, but it's interesting to contemplate. Seems from what I'm seeing that they'd do a lot better with Romney. Once again, thankx Newt.

And, of course, there's still a loooong way to go...

Pretty sure either would beat Obama, by double digits.

DREAMTROVE

Gingrich please, he's not a serious contender. Romney has it in the bag. He will lose to Obama because he doesn't represent change.

That's what a ship is, you know - it's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs.

Pretty sure most Americans will have had their fill of 'change' come next November.
