I was under the impression this segment was shot before Stewart's run-in with the Crossfire goons. Can anyone varify that? I'm hoping not. It'd be nice if he had the chance to elaborate on the arguments he presented on CNN without being shouted down.

EDIT: duh, nevermind. It says right in the article Tash linked to... "Though taped before Stewart's harsh comments of "Crossfire" and one its hosts, Tucker Carlson, he did have the subject of TV news on his mind..."

I don't watch any of the Fakeumentaries on network TV anymore lol. Jon Stewart said it right, when he said they were all a bunch of partisan hacks..aka Spinmeisters.

PS.. just out of curiousity..does this Bill O'Reilly thing stink of the Marv Albert syndrome or what? LOL

I can see it now:

O'Reilly - "I didn't do it"

Interrogator - " We have tapes that prove you did it"

Intern to O'Reilly- " Anything else, Mr. Bill O'Reilly?"

O'Reilly - "Have dinner with me tonight and bring your roommate, umm.. I mean thank you Sweetheart, I'll call you later, when I need something *wink wink" * unzipping sound..

Interrogator - "You just did it again and right in front of me!"

O'Reilly - "Did what..oh..oh.. excuse me for a second" * picks up the phone

Interrogator- "Umm.. Where's your other hand?"

O'Reilly - to an unknown person on the other line " So ahhh..oh yeah baby.. what are you wearing?..umm.. nevermind, Bring me a tissue"

Intern - "Your tissue Mr. Bill O'Reilly, Sir.."

Interrogator - " You've got to be kidding me.."
