The women described a similar pattern of events: Swalwell, who is married and has three children, showed close interest in their lives when they were in their twenties and finding their footing professionally, making them feel special and even starstruck. Then, they said, he would send them increasingly sexual messages. Many said they reciprocated and engaged with him in part because of his position of power. In some cases, those inappropriate exchanges escalated to alleged unwanted physical touch or sexual assault, often tied to episodes of heavy drinking.

The women asked not to be named out of fear of retaliation by Swalwell or professional consequences for speaking out against him.

Bullshit.

"often tied to episodes of heavy drinking"...

Here's a tip, ladies. If you're worried and think that somebody you know who you have no interest in is going to rape you, the last thing that you should be doing is going out with them regularly and drinking to the point where you're blacking out.

Eric is a dipshit, dumbfuck Californian Democrat, and I don't believe a single allegation made against him.

If you're a slut who's decided you're going to fuck your way to the top, you don't get to cry rape years later. Nobody held a gun to your head.

Part of being "Strong and Independent" is taking responsibility for your own mistakes. And that ABSOLUTELY includes any mistakes you make while you got yourself too drunk to make good decisions.

And besides... we don't even know if any of these allegations have any merit in the first place. We've all seen the depths that Democrats will sink to in order to win elections. If I were part of Swalwell's team, I'd be looking into the finances of all of these "many" women crawling out of the woodwork right now and see how many of them just bought themselves something really nice like a brand new Range Rover or whatever it is that stupid people waste their money on.

Interesting...

I decided to see what Google AI might answer if I asked "Who do you think set up Swalwell?"

I still don't know what makes Google AI force itself upon you when you do a search query on Google and when it doesn't because it seems so random when it does and doesn't pop up without you requesting it. That being said, apparently Google AI Bot didn't think that I was adressing it specifically or made a conscious decision not to weigh in on this one.

But I did something I don't usually do and clicked on "AI Mode" with that query still in the system and it spit this out...

In the current 2026 California gubernatorial race, the question of who might be "setting up" Representative Eric Swalwell has become a central point of contention following a wave of sexual misconduct allegations that surfaced on April 10, 2026.
Swalwell’s campaign has explicitly characterized these allegations as a coordinated effort by political opponents and MAGA conspiracy theorists to derail his candidacy just weeks before the June 2 nonpartisan primary.

Theories on the Origins of the Allegations

Different perspectives have emerged regarding who might be behind the current pressure on Swalwell:

Political Opponents: Swalwell’s campaign spokesperson stated that the "false, outrageous rumor" is being spread by "flailing opponents" who have teamed up with conspiracy theorists because Swalwell was leading the Democratic field in recent polls.

The "MAGA" Connection: Because of Swalwell’s high-profile history as a vocal critic of Donald Trump and his role in the first impeachment, his supporters and campaign argue that he is being targeted by right-wing figures.

Intra-Party Pressure: Some reports indicate that "anxiety over Swalwell is ripping through the Democratic Party". Following the allegations, major Democratic figures like Senators Adam Schiff and Alex Padilla called for him to exit the race, and several powerful labor unions have pulled their endorsements.

Specific Legal Challengers: Some point to right-wing filmmaker Joel Gilbert, who previously filed a lawsuit claiming Swalwell is a D.C. resident rather than a California resident, as an example of ongoing efforts to disqualify him.

Context of the Allegations

The timing and nature of the claims are critical to the "set up" narrative:

Timing: The San Francisco Chronicle report and CNN investigation detailing claims from four women were published on Friday, April 10, 2026, which the campaign calls "election eve".

Substance: A former staffer alleged two instances of sexual assault and a pattern of inappropriate messaging via Snapchat.

Campaign Response: Swalwell has categorically denied the claims, calling them "lies" and issuing cease-and-desist letters to the accusers.

At this stage, whether this is a genuine "set up" or the result of whistleblowers coming forward remains a matter of intense political debate in California.

Well... first off, let me just say that it's rather fortuitous for everyone making the claims now that they all used Snapchat to talk to the Congressman... Because every woman gets to claim that Swalwell sent them dick picks and videos, but none of them have a single shred of evidence because snapchat (allegedly) deletes whatever you upload shortly after you upload it.

Wow! Isn't that lucky? We get to make serious allegations against a man, but we don't have a single shred of evidence to back up any of these claims besides #BelieveAllWomen.

Uh-huh.

Let's not even go into the fact that I've been able to download videos off of YouTube without YouTube's permission since 2007, and that it's not hard to download videos off of ANY site, and I didn't even have to be raped to figure that out for myself.

And I don't think I have to climb out very far on a limb to say that it wasn't a MAGA generated hoax. Not just because everybody running in that race is cancer personified, but more importantly because if you knock out one of the leading Democrats in that race, their share of the votes will be shared with all the remaining Democrats in the race. The only way that a Republican becomes the next Governor of California is if both of the Republicans in the race come in 1st and 2nd place in California's totally screwed up ranked choice system. If Swalwell is out, that's not going to happen. If Swalwell is out at least 1 Democrat will take 1st or 2nd place, and there's no way that a Republican candidate is going to beat a Democratic candidate for California Governor in a General election.

It's 100% a Democrat behind all of this.

I just wonder who it is.

It's not any of the candidates in the race. They're all just as small potatoes as Swallwell himself is. On the off chance that it is coming from one or more of them, it's at the behest of somebody in the background who's making some major campaign contributions who can easily just walk away from the whole thing if it blows up in their face and Eric is somehow able to prove that the allegations are pure bullshit.

The real question is whether it's a high-ranking Democrat or collection of high-ranking Democrats that are behind this, or maybe we're talking more external meddling from Soros or somebody just as evil.
