Trump is a bully. He's using the National Guard to conquer DC as a test run.

Quote:Originally posted by 6ixStringJack: Something I also said 3 or 4 years ago was "I knew that Democrats were in trouble when they had ME taking the side of The Police". I do NOT understand why Democrats had to go FULL RETARD on EVERY issue under the sun in the last 12 years and literally ruin everything. I've been against the Death Penalty my entire life, and right now I'm just not feeling that anymore either. At least not until we get all the illegals out, and the Middle Easterners that HATE America out of our colleges and anywhere else they've taken up residence too. We don't even know who the hell is living here anymore, and a lot of them hate you. Add on top of that, for 4 years straight, nobody inside of a Big Blue City who wasn't white got arrested for any crime from shoplifting to murder, the old dog cops all retired early, the ones that stayed were ridiculed and abused for at least 2 years straight by the crazy lefties and nearly the Entire Legacy Media every single day, when people started getting hired back the ones who knew what they were doing were all replaced with worthless, fat DEI hires, with half of them being women POCs whom are all clearly in WAY over their heads, in all the managerial roles and other desk jobs... and I don't know what to tell ya, man. Time to bring some law and order back, and I think until all those above problems are made right, we need to have a serious discussion about putting the Death Penalty temporarily back on the table. I don't want it in Indiana. We don't need it here besides. Indianapolis is a blip on the radar, and Gary has been very well behaved compared to where it was in the 90's and even during the Biden* years and Trump 1.0 years as well. I'm curious what your opinion on it in Wisconsin would be, JSF. I'd argue in favor of it right now in California and New York for sure, and almost certainly in Illinois. Wisconsin would be on my probably not list, but then again it's been about 15 years since I lived there and I'm sure a lot has changed. ETA: And to further elaborate why I'd argue against it in Indiana and possibly Wisconsin too, while probably arguing for it in Illinois... is complex. Here's my attempt to overly-simplify it... 1. I am still very much against the death penalty and it almost feels like selling my soul to be for it, even temporarily and even just in selected places where the worst of the worst is going down on a daily basis. 2. Therefore, if it does make a comeback, I want it in a VERY select few places. (And I also want it to have a relatively short expiration date with a new vote needed any time it is to be renewed, at least once per year). 3. Let it be known that other places could be on the table in the future, but it's only being rolled out in, maybe say the TOP 3 worst states... maybe 5 max? 4. Increase arrests meanwhile in the other Big Blue Shitholes and clean up the streets. Get the fucking illegals all out too, of course. 5. Have the media make a big deal about people being arrested and tried for a possible death penalty sentence, and an even bigger deal if several of them are responsible for crimes so heinous that they do get sentenced to Death. 6. And then show it. To everyone. On every Network channel at the same time. Give all the parents enough of a head's up, even in the weeks and days leading up to this to keep their kids away from the TV when it's shown. I don't want the scales being tipped so far the other way that we all end up living under a boot man. But if you do all of the above, just the realization that doing crime on any level is now going to be met with reciprocal punishment, crimes of any scale are going to start going down nationwide. And quickly. And I think a lot of rude ass, angry people out there are going to start being a lot more polite while out in public too. But you've got to start phasing out the police/military as the problem is being solved, we're finally getting ahead of it, and the bad numbers no longer necessitate the need for as many agents on the taxpayer dime, and we can keep Republicans from going FULL Retard... again... Let's clean it all up man. There's no reason we have to keep on living like this anymore. We didn't before. But somehow we just let that slow creep into everything and now there's just shit everywhere you look. -------------------------------------------------- "I don't find this stuff amusing anymore." ~Paul Simon

Washington, D.C.'s budget is significantly higher than states like Arizona and Vermont primarily because federal funds account for less than 1% of its direct revenues, while 75% of its budget comes from local taxes and fees. In contrast, states like Arizona and Vermont receive a larger percentage of their budget from federal aid, which is about 24% of their grants. Additionally, D.C. receives a total of $7.5 billion from federal transfers, which is a small fraction of all federal transfers to states. This structure leads to a substantial budget disparity compared to states that rely more on Federal funding.

All of the time wasted by those posting in this thread because they could not figure this shit out. Too funny...

Quote:Odd that there are any counties at all that swung for Trump on that list. All 3 of them are small counties in the bottom 5 of the list. 2 of them are in Louisiana and one is in Colorado. Both states which have been plagued with Democratic Party DEI mentality oozing out of their blue rotten cores for over a decade now. We will have to look into illegal alien numbers for both of these states in the last 5 years, particularly in these 3 counties and find out more. If somebody would be so kind as to do a little extra research now and find out who the mayor of all of these cities are to further school Ted, that would be awesome. I'll probably come back to it, but that all took a while to put together. The things I do to educate the uneducated. I'm pretty sure the idea is that the problem will take care of itself in the red states after we embolden the police forces to do their jobs again in those states after they see what we're doing to you blue states who love black on black murder statistics being high every year.
