Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

Where you go determines debt, what you take (and geographic location) determines how much you'll earn. For example nurses on the east coast earn far more than nurses in California. I wonder if that's due to the sheer number of foreign nurses in California.

What many of the links cited in the Hechinger Report lack is un/employment levels. It's not always true that salaries are related to employment.

Did they factor in which states have CoN Laws? For nurses, doctors.

I recall in Boston not long ago, a college degree was required to run a register at McDonald's - and they still couldn't add or subtract without the calculator.
Does Advanced Sandbox or Deluxe Basketweaving pay well?

Paying off college debt would be a huge boost to the almost exclusively white middle class and most upwardly mobile sector of the country.

I'm sure that will go over extremely well with AOC once she does some research on the topic.

What have you done today to earn your place in this crowded world? :)
