The title was taken from an article about the shooting in Hesston, Kansas.

"Um, 'cause they pass 'em around like candy, pretty much EVERYWHERE." Probably more bullets THAN candy in this country. Is the answer.

BTW, one of our regulars in chat LIVES THERE. Knows several of the shot.

yeah and nobody knows why he needed to commit burglarly, aggravated charges, auto theft, flee from officer, fight/brawl..and those are just the highlights..I'd guess there were additional charges that likely never made it to the judge ruling the way the legal system tosses out charges like a store santa toss candy in a parade.

but hey, let's don't let little details like a bad guy's repeated behavior get in the way of a good gun control opportunity.

Surprisingly, I have no comment on gun control. Have guns, don't have guns, you still have people so you lose either way.

I did find it interesting that there wasn't a whole lot in the media today, and even the NRA did not make rounds spouting off about their rights, like they do after such things these days...

Usually, 20 people shot would be top news for a week or so.

I'm guessing because it was a black guy they don't want to play it up for race reasons.

But then there was the white Uber driver and he didn't get played up either. So I think the real reason neither got played up is they didn't use the magic words 'allahu akbar'. Mass shootings are just business as usual unless you say those magic words.
