Just bury your head in the sand ;)

I'm joking, but then again I'm not.

I know it's just a matter of time until some bomb goes off in bum-fuck nowhere to discredit what I'm saying here, but even when that happens, the ratio of Large Scale City targets compared to bum-fuck nowhere's is so drastic that you'd still probably be more likely to die from a lightning bolt while playing golf in a storm than living in a high profile city.

Nowhere is "safe". Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise. No matter where you are, no matter what you do, there is always potential for bad things to happen just around the corner.

You can hedge your bets though. If you're not really making enough money to justify living in Chicago or New York City, now's the time to bail out and go some place safer.

I'm close enough to Chicago that the jobs are still decent and it has the suburban style I grew up with, but far enough away that I could run away from the fallout if a nuke went off. Far enough away where the roads aren't overcrowded at 2PM on some idle Tuesday.

Even though I see "drones" with cameras bought by law enforcement and civilians on shows like South Park and The League, I still have yet to see any of them hovering around me.

The world as a whole seems to be getting increasingly fucked up everyday.

Chances are, if you don't live in the center of a major city you're going to be just fine though.

Won't you come with me to a place in a little town?

Make fun of the 90's if you want, but whatever I used to worry about back then is completely forgotten today.

Shit was so great back in 1995 that we just made up a bunch of stuff to worry about. :)

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Hey Jack - you can come over to our house if we can come over to yours.

Sign me- Rsident of water-starved target-city suburb, where nobody would want to move unless they were crazy!

You can't build a nation with bombs. You can't create a society with guns.
