Green Bay - Seattle game ... call it luck or destiny or divine intervention, I don't know. Whatever it was I do know it was nothing short of miraculous.

America loves a winner!

Obama called Russel Wilson after the game. Told him that Seattle didn't win that. Someone had to build the stadium, and the streets which got fans to the field, and someone else had to make the uniforms, and plant the grass....

Seattle didn't win. Everyone did their part. Russel Wilson wasn't any more special than Joe six-pack , sittin' in the stands.

Seriously - it was phenomenal. Of course, you never quit until the whistle sounds. It's just a basic life lesson, that seemingly always needs to be repeated, for this very reason.

Never give up. Never surrender.

.. The on side kick recovery. Sure, no sweat.

.. The 2-pt. conversion. A Hail Mary without the Mary!

.. The OT romp down the field into the end zone. Like Sherman's March To The Sea.

The Packers and their fans are gonna need a lot of time to get over this one.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

I bet you're eating that nice warm bagel with cream on it right now. You just LOOOVE your nice warm bagels with cream. Love - in the Biblical sense.

You're not up to date on the latest NFL scandal, New England is being accused of deflating their "FOOT" balls in Sundays game. If turns out to be true then they'll lose draft picks...and I'm eating potato chips.

She doesn't know and doesn't care. Football is stupid. It's male dominated and a pointless excess of the bourgeoisie' used to placate a duped proletariat.

Surely the refs would notice something wrong with the ball. How would that give one team an advantage anyhow?

Sounds a lot like what John Houseman said about Rollerball.

Yeah, I heard. What is it with New England and cheating. It's like the league hasn't got enough troubles. The video tape scandal, the Tuck Rule, the Snow Plow incident and now this..............

When you have "the greatest QB" why would you need to cheat? I'm sick of hearing about how special the Patriots are, and how special Tom Brady is. They play in one of the weakest divisions in the NFL. That's why they go to the Super Bowl every year............

Video taping the opponents defensive signals gives you a decisive edge. Yes, you gotta complete the pass, but when you know the defensive scheme of your opponent, well, it takes away the guess work, You know where their weakness is. Many teams complained that it was as though they knew where everyone would be and they would just be extremely ready.

Now Tom throwing a "soft" ball gives his receivers the edge. But the Patriots always get away with it. Well, I guess this means another Super Bowl for Krafty's super achievers with Godell polishing the trophy for Tommy Boy. Put an asterisk next to that one too.

That was a great game, mainly because of the drama. 16-0 going into the 2nd half, but GB was barely keeping Seattle at bay. GB had the ball twice within the 5 yard line and couldn't score a TD, they settled for FGs. I knew that they were in trouble, but the Seahawks were playing like shit.

Wilson was not playing his usual calm game until late in the 3rd Quarter. I had a feeling that all it would take was one break and then the momentum shifted to Seattle and that was all she wrote. GB was playing not to lose and Seattle was playing to win. Wilson floated those 2 rainbows and GB was packing their bags.

You'll see. It's all set up for the Patriots to win. I hope it's a close game, but I don't trust Kraft and I don't trust Godell. I hope they keep their dirty mitts off this game, and let them play on a level playing field.
