"Far from being a historic tax cut, Obamacare actually qualifies as one of the largest tax increases in history. It contains roughly $1 trillion in taxes — on insurance plans, medical devices and investment income. And many of the taxes will end up falling on the middle class".

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

There are about 20 good reasons to hate Obama, and that is one of them. I have been bitching and complaining about "Obamacare" ever since Obama put Max Baucus in charge. Max, you see, was a huge recipient of health industry campaign contributions, and Obama's "reform" was just a huge wet kiss on the dick of the health-care and insurance industries. (So much for Obama being a "socialist"!)

The answer, of course, is not to put the health industry in charge of health care reform. After all, they were the ones that got us into this mess in the first place. The answer is to crush them directly under the boot heel of our common human interest in reasonable, universal health care at less-than-oligopolistic prices.

Is that not so, Jongsstraw?

It's too late for all that. It's here now. Pay a lot more middle-classers and like it!
