Today I took my mom to the hospital with flu, to prevent death by dehydration.

When the doc asked if she had the flu shot this year, she said YES...

Last month I heard a radio host on national Christian radio say he volunteered for a "vaccine trial" that day, thus all Christians must volunteer as lab rats for experimental eugenics programs.

From what little I understand, flu vaccines vary from year to year?? and only half-assedly protect from the top couple most caught strains, not all.

Yeah you are correct, Wish. There are many different strains of the flu, and not all of them are covered by the vaccine. I think the flu vaccine is a waste of time, frankly.

I as a young woman with a good immune system see no need for a flu shot, they are no guarantee and sometimes you get sick anyways or as a result. Maybe when I get old I'll want to try it, but for now I'll pass.
