Yeah, I remember my time serving in DC during the Cuban Missile Crisis, too. Hey, I mean, I was living there at the time, and my dad was at the NSA, so it's kinda like I served, right?

Guy's a goddamned idiot, and owes every person who actually DID serve in Vietnam an apology.

He can say he served in the Vietnam era, or he served during the Vietnam war, and those are mildly misleading, but not outright lies. Saying he served IN Vietnam is pure bullshit, and it's shameful. Not only should he not be elected, he should resign the job he now holds. He's a disgrace.
