DEADLOCKVICTIM

I probably shouldn’t even be posting this because some hateful person will be glad to jump on this sick bandwagon.

Roger Stone and his 527 group of anti-Hillary Clinton buddies have taken the name Citizens United Not Timid and are providing a forum for Clinton haters.

In case you missed it… Citizens United Not Timid.

Politics aside, I don’t know about the rest of you, but for me there is one word that I never use. Even in today’s twisted society, it is still only used to degrade and demean women. Can’t say for sure but I don’t think Mr Whedon would approve of its use.

The sad, sorry story here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/01/24/welcome-to-the-gutter-ri_n_83

Makes you proud to be an American, doesn’t it.

America loves a winner!

Yeah, I got the acronym, and it was worth a chuckle. If only for a brief moment. But seriously, folks who'd go to this depth to vilify a US Senator , even if they think of her in such a base level, can NOT be taken seriously. In fact, I see them as have taken themselves OUT of any legitimate discussion, not adding anything to it. I'd ignore them, dismiss them and move on. They are what they are, and nothing we do will change that.

It is not those who use the term "Islamo-Fascism" who are sullying the name of Islam; it is the Islamo-Fascists. - Dennis Prager

Roger Stone... I remember him. That tape of him threatening Spitzer's father was when I first learned of him. Class act.

As for the word, I have to admit that I use it too. I use it when talking about people like Roger Stone.

I AM proud to be an American, and always will be. I never heard of this guy, honestly, so I can't say anything about him based on anything other than your thread.

I will say that he doesn't sound like much.

But I refuse, absolutely REFUSE to be ashamed in any way of being an American, especially based on the ranting of someone who has no better use for his time than to think up crap like that.

And, in fairness, the same freedom that let's him do that, let's us have things just like this board, and express our own opinions.

I don't like Hillary CLinton, and I've never been shy about saying so. I am, however, intelligent enough to say it without resorting to childish, attention grabbing pranks.

That's as bad an idea as Nixons Committee to RE-Elect the President, aka.. CREEP.

Ironic, that was, but for such a sleazeball, he had an excellent sense of humor.

Having said that, those dudes are no-class, it's not even funny, just crass.

I thought Hillary was actively seeking support from this group. She's always talking about how she wants to be the first woman President and all the female support she has.

I know that Bill is interested in this group, even if Hillary is not. He's had a lot of contact with various members in the past...

What's next? The Underground Republic for Democrats? Get it? T.U.R.D.?

I figure if they're going to be a bunch of giggly adolescents with their acronyms, then we can too.

Not a fan of the word, or the group, or the candidate. What am I a fan of? Right now, naps.

How appropos..... she is one. Funny how the truth so often is labeled not "PC".

On a personal note though, I never used the word before at all until I watched Deadwood. Sadly I catch myself saying it every great once and a while in fits of frustration now. I know my language isn't the cleanest here, but I promise, you'll never see me type that word here. I'm really working hard on re-removing the word from my spoken vocabulary... not so much because I really mind the word anymore but because I know how sensitive others are too it and I would hate to let that one slip at the wrong time.

Like Bender said, "Once you watch it, you can't unwatch it". Dammit Deadwood.... you bunch of hedonistic, foul mouthed cocksuckers.

I always thought that acronym stood for "Can't Understand Normal Thinking".

Yes. The rest of us take Citizens U.N.T. very seriously.

In fact I think its a worthwhile organization and I spend every Friday night trying my best to get in.
