Perhaps hypocritical folks who only want Freedom of Speech to apply to those who agree with their liberal agenda might want to consider that the evil terrorists who were the brunt of my one-liner would be the first to strip away ALL our rights if given the chance,” she wrote in the 319-word post. “That’s why we do whatever we can to prevent them from killing innocent people. Quote: But to compare it to baptism ? Horrific. And Sarah should know that, too. Look at what the 2 things are... Waterboarding: a means of enhanced interrogation ( as the US used it ) to get uncooperative individuals to offer up intel which they otherwise would be unwilling to relay. Baptism: A Christian ceremony which is believed to be essential in the salvation of the individual, and signifies their acceptance of Jesus Christ as savior. The two could not be any different. What Palin was jokingly attempting to convey was basically a conversion via Inquisition methods, to get the Jihadists to convert, via waterboard ,instead of being baptized. What I ,and I suspect most conservatives take offense to , is not Palin's openness to the use of waterboarding of terrorists , but her comparing it to being baptized. She appears to have double downed on her comments, focusing on the issue of dealing w/ terrorists, and not how she compared 1 act to another. MY issue is how she tried to associate it to a calm, even pleasant act of baptism, which isn't done out of coercion, but entered into freely. ( Unless it's an infant being baptized, then it's just sprinkles of water , with no real meaning to them. )

Dr. Shakeel Afridi had been convicted of treason and sentenced to 33 years. Gee, only 20 more years to go now! It's a cakewalk! I'm sure when he gets out he'll thank Barry personally for all his support. Let that be a lesson to anyone else who ever thinks about helping the U.S.

He doesn't hate America any more than George Bush did.
Quote: President Obama's mother married his father at the ripe young age of 18, after the two met in a Russian-language class at the University of Hawaii. At the time, interracial marriage was illegal in most states. Dunham was three months pregnant when the two tied the knot in a ceremony so discrete that her son never uncovered any records of the event, according to Scott's biography of Dunham, "A Singular Woman." By the time Obama was a year old, his father, Barack Obama Sr., had moved from Hawaii to Massachusetts to get a masters degree from Harvard. By the time he was six, he had moved with his mother to Indonesia after she married Lolo Soetoro. The couple had a daughter, Maya Soetoro, before they divorced in 1980.
