Meh heh heh...

GOP leaders pushed to allow House vote on defunding the NSA

Rep. Justin Amash Pushing To Strip The NSA's Funding With An Amendment To The Defense Appropriations Bill

Amash's attempt at bankrupting the NSA (of money, not morals) will be entertaining to observe, if nothing else. Unfortunately, the House is stacking the deck against him, removing the open amendment process that's been in use since the Republicans took over defense appropriations in 2011.

Amash is a strange bird, he's neither part of the Bush-Cheney cabal nor the DeVos-Prince cabal out of Holland, MI... he's kind of a Ron Paulian sort, which makes him either more, or less, popular around here depending on the specific issue.

Alas, the faction issue noted above is why Snyder is busy looting the whole fucking state as fast as he can without regard to what'll come of it, cause he's trying to pay off multiple factions so no one gets pissed about not getting their cut, kinda forgetting the public is a faction too.

While I've been too busy to do much, winding them up and setting them at their throats in a feeding frenzy or circular firing squad would be my intention, and this lil bit here... fuel on the fire, oh that IN-DEEED!

Enemy of my enemy indeed - when EVERYONE hates your guts, perhaps a policy rethink is in order, innit ?

PROtip: Hey, NSA - nobody likes you.
