Aaargghhhh.

I'm just about out of here, folks, unless there is a bit more diversity in the topics posted. I'm up to the eyeballs in Obama and Benghazi, Obama and IRS, Obama is bad, Muslims are bad, Righties in the US are crazy threads. Surely there is something else we can talk about?

Anyway, this is a wonderful multi media on the firestorms that hit Tasmania earlier this year. As someone who lives in a fireprone environment, I can tell you that catastrophic conditions, previously once in 50-100 years are now becoming much more prevalent.

A moving story, although I think the family were vastly unprepared.

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

I had no trouble getting in, but had a LOT of trouble watching the whole thing. Just too horrific, it hurt too much. Those poor people!

These things are truly awful; it breaks my heart to watch. My heart goes out to all of them, and all those for whom such things are coming. That's all I can say.
