Good thing American taxpayers gave them 100's of thousands of dollars in welfare.

That's pretty horrific.

Not sure what it has to do with welfare payments to them, though. Relevance?

Reminds me a little of the French case of Mohammed Merah. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toulouse_and_Montauban_shootings

Young, disaffected, radicalized, commences with individually planned murder. Here, too, the family (not his brothers, though) seemed to have played a role in shaping his radical views.

Another parallel: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Socialist_Underground
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-20256219

German radicalized neo-nazi serial killers, though there is more of a troubling support network involved in this case.

This sort of small-scale terrorism is troubling because it's so much more difficult to keep track of individuals that aren't immediately suspicious. (Though in the German case it's really a form of gross, slightly racist incompetence.)

The welfare money is important and symbolic because American taxpayers welcomed these refugees into our country and supported them. The citizens of Massachusetts did noble and charitable deeds for them, and were thanked with death and mayhem.

So... aside from stating the patently obvious (evil terrorists are evil and ungrateful) I'm not sure what your point is.

Were people presciently supposed to know these two would turn out to be murderous bastards?

Make a real statement. Say what you think the point is.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Yes, terrorists are evil.

JONGSSTRAW: discuss.

Would it have made a difference to the victims if they had not been receiving welfare payments, or if they had been American born?
