"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Fucking dumb-ass.

Man Who Fears Obama Winning Election Slays His Family Then Self

Quote:

Just hours after attending church, Albert Peterson shot his wife and two sons before turning the gun on himself. According to a source close to the family ‘he just did not want his kids inheriting this mess,’ Maggie L, who did not wish to reveal her last name, told MailOnline. ‘Sometimes we thought he might take his own life when he was so depressed. We never thought he would take Kathie’s.’

A history of mental illness, the loss of a dear uncle, and a growing fear of Obama winning a second term in the White House took its toll on the mind of Mr Peterson, a wealthy defense contractor, the friend said. A friend of the family says that Albert suffered from debilitating paranoia, exacerbated by the upcoming election.

I don't even believe in Hell - but I hope there's an extra cripsy layer of it for fucks like this guy.

May his poor wife and kids rest peacefully.

Note to anyone - Please pity the poor, poor wittle Rappyboy. He's feeling put upon lately, what with all those facts disagreeing with what he believes.

Sorry to tell you, but Virginia has a list of qualifications that make one eligible for absentee voting. "Scared of the black man" isn't one of them, and he doesn't seem to qualify for any others.

Ironic, isn't it? "Hero" here coming to defend the idea of dead folks voting, just as long as they're voting against the black guy!

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Gawd, how awful. Those poor people. I wonder how much the fear-stoking from the right helped make him paranoid enough to do such a thing? Probably wouldn't matter as it sounds like he was pretty fucked up anyway, but the "apocalyptic" stuff I hear from candidates on the right always sounded so incredible to me, all the "will destroy our country" stuff and other fear mongering.

Just terribly, terribly sad.

Actually he voted for Obama and could not live with it. Please, for your own safety ad sanity, don't make the same mistake.

Huh. So he was so worried about Obama winning that he voted for Obama?

Republican logic at its finest...

There's not enough booze in the world to make sense of Republicanism.

Let me 'splain it to ya.
Most Republicans (and a bunch of Democrats too BTW) have realized that there is no God, no love, nothing much in Humanity worth preserving or saving, no ideals that will ever come true, but there IS the GAME. And they play it. For keeps. Winning is all there is. The thrill of the kill. The collateral damage is the acceptable side effect of play.

And the only way to win that game, is not to play.

Early voting allows for this possibility.
